BRING TRUTH TO LIGHT

As Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers but rose to prominence in Egypt, so were black Africans sold into slavery in America and elsewhere. While Joseph saw the purpose and providence of God in his plight, the descendants of slaves in America have not yet seen it in theirs. It is the proposed mission of The Joseph Project to bring this truth to light and to awaken the potential Black America has to “save many lives,” among their brethren.

While the goal of the Joseph Project is to awaken and challenge the descendants of African slaves to see their opportunity, as Joseph needed the help of Pharaoh we invite anyone who wishes to help us to get involved in supporting this endeavor.

The Bulamu Children's Village

The Bulamu Children’s Home, and orphanage outside of Kampala that houses, feeds, clothes and educates over 800 Ugandan orphans. Bulamu means “LIFE” and as one of the children told me in all sincerity, “this is where life is. We would not be alive were it not for this place”. Major continued needs are: food and clothing BUT a rising need is funding for post Secondary education, whether university or trade school.

Rejoice School

Rejoice School, in the rural hills outside of Mukono, provides schooling to 70 children ages 5­ to 8 who have only the basic necessities of life. Most have to be brought 2­ to 5 miles each way to and from school, mostly on foot, daily.

God Cares Primary and High School

Buyamba Uganda’s God Cares Primary and High School are in the capital city of Kampala and have been in existence for several years, growing from a small and lowly primary school, and are doing very well feeding, housing, clothing and educating now over 1200 children. Their dilemma that they are now facing is seeing gifted young people graduate from their high school who lack the funds to go on to university or technical schools that will give them the opportunity for good jobs afterwards.

YOU CAN HELP

We need your help to properly care for the Bulamu orphans, help build better facilities for Rejoice and help fund the advanced education for the young people graduating from God Cares.

You can help us in sponsoring a child for $35 a month. $30 goes directly to Uganda to support the children and $5 is used to cover administrative costs of a web site, mailings, a staff person AND the wire transfer fees to send the funds to Uganda.
